Dylan Haraway

Bio

Dylan Haraway is entering his 7th season at Hewitt-Trussville. During his tenure as a Husky, Dylan coached the Defensive Line and currently serves as Special Teams Coordinator and Linebackers coach. In his six seasons, Dylan has sent eight players to play at the collegiate level, five of which are in the SEC. Haraway's players have also been selected as Under Armour All-Americans, Alabama-Mississippi all-stars, Alabama 7A all-state, and North-South all-stars. Haraway is also the football team's Academic Coordinator. In this role, he helps recognize high-achieving student-athletes, ensures players are eligible for AHSAA and NCAA competition, and assists students in need. Before coming to Hewitt-Trussville, Haraway was a Defensive Analyst at Samford University, and before his time at Samford, he played football at Georgetown College.

Dylan and his wife of three years, Hayden, live in Trussville and attend First Baptist Church. They welcomed their first child, Mills, into the world in May of 2025. Dylan holds an Education Specialist degree in Administration and his wife is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, CRNA.
