Sean Talsma

Bio

Sean Talsma is entering his 6th season as the defensive coordinator at Hewitt-Trussville. During this time the Huskies have averaged giving up 18.6 points per game. Defensively 14 players have earned all-state honors. In 4 of the 5 years as defensive coordinator the Huskies have advanced to the Quarter Finals or further.

Before coming to Hewitt-Trussville, Coach T was the defensive coordinator at Clay-Chalkville helping lead the Cougars to a state championship in 2014. He also spent time coaching at Pelham HS, 5 years in Georgia at Twiggs Co., Henry Co., and Baldwin Co. HS. Coach Talsma started his coaching career in Michigan at Marcellus HS.

Talsma played college football at Hope College in Michigan, where he was a three year starter at Corner.

Coach Talsma is married to Jasmine and they have two boys, Roman (5) and Creed (2)
